European Medieval Knight's Close Helmet Helm Armor
The European Close Helmet was a favorite in 15th century jousts. The classic "Knight's" helmet, it features a full visor and bevor which pivot from bolts on each side of the skull. Measuring 13 inches tall, 14 inches deep and 9 inches wide, it is full sized and can be worn by most people. Made of 18 guage cold rolled steel, with a galvanized coating on the inside to prevent rust, this helmet weighs just about 5 1/2 pounds. The visor lifts up for added ventilation. It does not come with a liner.
This helmet is BRAND NEW, never worn or displayed, and looks great in home offices or studies. It is excellent for use as part of a costume, but is not recommended for use as an actual helmet during battle re-creations.
